O Man, Won’t You Melt Me?

/ O Man, Won’t You Melt Me? /

Sometimes I find it hard to sleep,
lie awake to pass the time.
Until I a fix perfect picture,
of the girl I’d like to find.
Is it a sign when she smiles all the time
and pulls me closer on into her grip.
I’ve never felt such an honest thing,
but I can tell that her man’s not me.

It’s not me.
No, it’s not me.
Why would she change it all for me?
No, it’s not me.

I don’t know what she’s thinking, or what I’m even thinking,
here she comes, I guess I’ll step outside.
Oh man, won’t you melt me?
Just beneath that,
that wooden floor.

Is it asking too much?
Can I make a suggestion, or is it too late?
Don’t ask me to remember, I’m sure you didn’t think, think that much
and I’m waiting for the question, but it’s not me.

No, it’s not me.
Why would she change it all for me?
No, it’s not me.

I don’t know what she’s thinking, or what I’m even thinking,
here she comes, well I guess I’ll step outside.
Oh man, won’t you melt me?
Just beneath that,
that wooden floor.

Shiny floor.
Oh man, won’t you melt me.

Oh man, won’t you melt me?
Oh man, won’t you melt..
